See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

Welcome… I guess? How’d you end up here anyways?

I do writing and sometimes draw, and have a fanfiction addiction. I have watched so many shows, so you’ll see a hearty mmix of things from here. I don’t do anything with any sort of regularity, so meh.

You can find my fics here on my AO3, it’s under the same name if the link is broken.

Also, since my posts like to vanish, you can usually find my writing (since not all of it goes onto AO3, especially the really small ones or post add-ons) under the tag #goodfish writes and my art under #goodfish draws. #goodfish was here is used with no set pattern, but usually if I’m addding/commenting on a post.

Prompts, asks, and requests are also open. AMA or even just interact. I do not do commisions. Everything is done on impulse, not command.

Imagine losing your phone (or having it stolen, nobody's entirely sure) but you've got the location thing on so you can check from your computer where the phone is when it's turned on. You try to map out where the fuck it is, but it's been wandering around in places that don't have maps and people shouldn't access. It turns out that no matter who stole it, a fucking raccoon has it now, and you're pretty much run out of battery. You need this phone so you try to fervently figure out how the fuck you're going to get it back.

Okay, it hasn't been moving in a raccoon-like fashion for a while, so you're pretty sure that it's not being carried around by the raccoon anymore. Oh, it looks like it's been found, someone turned it on and charged it! A notification pings on your computer, someone has sent a message from your phone!

"23rqrferq233rqrw434r". The phone is moving on the GPS again. It has been picked up by another fucking raccoon!

...And that is roughly how I picture Sauron feeling when the Ring was once again carried by another hobbit.

Danny had not meant to become a crime lord. I mean sure, he had helped unionized the goons. But that's only because there were some obvious solutions to their problems that he happened to point out! And ok, maybe he did occasionally check in on the various clubs and bars to make sure there were no rowdy patrons. But it was the least he could do after Samantha had given him some leftovers instead of throwing them away. There's also the fact that he rounded up all the drug dealers in the area. They were dealing around children though! What was he supposed to do?

Speaking of children, apparently they had formed their own mini gang and were going around calling his boss like the goons did. Danny really didn't have an explanation for that. All he had done was build a care shelter for them with bunk beds, food, toys and more in case their home life wasn't the greatest. They even did homework help for kids who were falling behind in school a little. Had he employed the homeless to work at the care shelter? Ok yes, he had. In his defense though, he needed a lot of hands to help run it. Especially when more and more kids showed up every day.

Seriously, he was more of a philanthropist than a crime lord. You know, excluding the fact that he beat up Batman for insinuating that this was all a front for some criminal activity. But I mean come on? That was totally justified. If anyone's the criminal, it's the man who dresses up like a furry to beat up the mentally ill and allows his son to go running around in shorts and pixie boots.

saw a post abt HBO removing shows that suggests ppl just “burn dvds” but everyone doesnt know how to do that so here is one way to do that

- get blank dvds (Both +R or -R work, I think +R is slightly cheaper, the difference is rewritability), these are not very expensive for the amount you can get in bulk (if you are in the US 100 of them is about 30$ at walmart)

- an external DVD drive that plugs in via usb is also around 20-40$ (it tends to be closer to 20)

image
image

- download DVDFlick (free)

- if you don’t already have the mp4/mpeg of whatever media you want to burn, you can download movies/shows off of sites like gomovies.sx and soap2day

gomovies.sx will have a download button that looks like this

image

below the video you can choose one of these

image

if you click streamlare for example and then the download button it will take you here where the mp4 is

(if you’re on an iphone/ipad, clicking download will save it to your files app)

image

- if you cant find the download button on soap2day you can also install a video downloader extension which will find the movie for you

image

- at this point you can drag and drop it into a google drive or keep it on your computer but if you still want it on dvd ->

- open dvd flick, drag and drop the video

image

- click “project settings”

image

- give it whatever title you want, you can change encoder to “normal” (default is below normal if you are doing other things on the computer). you dont need to change target size or thread count (unless you want to)

image

- insert a blank dvd into your drive, make sure you click “burn project to disc”

image

- click accept then click “create dvd” next to menu and project settings. it will create a destination folder and this dialogue box will pop up when you click “create” on more dvds, just click “yes” and then “okay” on the box that appears after it

it’ll take a couple hours, once its done take a sharpie & write whats on it and stick it in a case . or dont . im not ur mom

Lilo & Stitch is a great example of a story that has no villains. It has antagonists, sure, but most of them are well-meaning. The worst person in the film is that little shit Myrtle, but she’s not in the film that much anyway.

wonderfulworldofmichaelford

Since this post is getting traction I want to clarify how not-villainous the antagonists are:

  • The Grand Councilwoman is literally just responding to what she sees as a threat to the galaxy and is extremely reasonable.
  • Gantu is much the same. He’s a bit overzealous, yes, but he thinks he’s saving the galaxy from stitch.
  • Cobra Bubbles is literally just doing his job, he’s obviously not happy about it but he is doing what he feels is best for Lilo. And much like the Councilwoman, he is extremely reasonable.
  • Myrtle is, again, just a little shit. She’s a schoolyard bully and is truly small potatoes.
  • Jumba calls himself an “evil scientist,” but literally nothing supports that. His only onscreen crime is creating a bunch of Pokémon that have powers that will mildly inconvenience people and can be persuaded to be nice over the course of 22 - 90 minutes, to say nothing of himself seeing as he decides to change his ways at the softest bit of persuasion.
  • Pleakley is literally just gay.
a-method-in-it

The "villain" of Lilo and Stitch is, rather directly, societies and social systems that write people off and do not provide support and care.

It is obvious to the audience -- and deliberately presented this way by the film -- that it is better for Lilo to stay with her sister, even if her sister is a bit of a mess and not financially stable. Mr. Bubbles is not evil. He is there because he wants what's best for Lilo, and he is not unreasonable to think that the sister without a job who leaves the stove on and whose house nearly burned down two days later is not it. The solution is not to "defeat" Mr. Bubbles; the solution would be for society to help Nani succeed, rather than watch as she fails.

Similarly, no one provided any help to Stitch when he was created and discovered. They wrote him off as an abomination, something too dangerous to be destroyed. They weren't evil, and it wasn't unreasonable to think that the experiment created to be an agent of destruction would be better off scrapped. But what would have happened if they had at least tried?

Lilo and Stitch are two characters who were caught in systems that were cold, uncaring, and unsupportive, even if the people in them were not evil and were, in fact, just doing their best.

It's a movie about people who have been written off finding one another and building a found family where they can get and give the support and care they didn't get from the people with authority and I love it so much.
